Before earning his Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law (2017) — where he simultaneously completed a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami Herbert Business School (2017) — Cam was a decorated NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse player at St. Lawrence University, where he double-majored in Mathematics and Economics obtaining his B.A. in 2013. As a senior, he served as Team Captain and earned three of the sport's most coveted individual honors in a single season: Division III All-America recognition, USILA Scholar All-America distinction — awarded to student-athletes who excel equally on the field and in the classroom — and First Team All-Conference in the Liberty League, having also earned All-Conference recognition as a junior.
